# Emory Roybal Center for Dementia Caregiving Mastery > An Edward R. Roybal Center funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and based at Emory University's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. The Center funds and supports NIH Stage I-III behavioral intervention research that strengthens the competence and confidence ("mastery") of family caregivers of people living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The Center provides pilot funding, methodological consultation, and a design studio to investigators across the United States.
