Ken Hepburn is a gerontologist specializing in the study of families caring for individuals living with dementia-producing illnesses like Alzheimer’s disease. Over the past three decades he has been engaged in the development and testing of behavioral interventions, such as the Savvy Caregiver program, aimed at strengthening caregivers’ knowledge, skill, and competence and confidence for providing effective and supportive care for persons living with these conditions.
